A Little Blush

The soft neutral palette stays interesting with a lot of different textures: chenille, faux fur, clear Lucite metallic threads, polished chintz, chrome, rustic fir wood, sleek mahogany, mirrors, and mercury glass. Curves and angles combine with the textures to create a comfortable and elegant living room.

Project Overview:

Everything was golden brown! This very traditional two story living room was empty and dull even with lots of windows. The new owners are young and wanted a contemporary setting for entertaining, but still suitable for their young children. The original plan was to replace the carpeting with hardwood floors, but as we progressed on the project the hardwood floors were postponed, so we adjusted. The client showed me several pictures of neutral rooms with curved upholstery that she liked. The soft neutral palette stays interesting with a lot of different textures.
