Master Bedroom
From a pleasant master bedroom to a showstopper with functionality! This redesigned master bedroom glows.
Challenges Addressed
The client felt the master bedroom was dark with a problematic layout. She requested additional storage and that the adjacent sitting room be made to feel part of the master bedroom suite. The room is large with a high ceiling but didn’t feel grand as the client had intended.
Solutions Provided
We reconfigured the layout to position the bed at the command position, where the client can see the entrance to the suite. The walls were lightened with Benjamin Moore’s Bone Black and dark pieces such as the antique mirrors and chandelier supply contrast. Opposite the bed we added two armoires for additional storage with a large gray velvet ottoman for seating and a touch of romance.
